Window Views... and doors too! #27

So this is my first post for our newly-named meme, Window Views... and doors too! It's the same as "Window Views" but now you can post photos of doors if you like.

Take a look at the door I shot the other day:

What an unusual door on a very usual house in Forest Hills, Queens, N.Y. Don't you think?

I'm looking forward to your windows and/or doors this week.

Please sign Mr. Linky and leave a comment. And of course visit your fellow Window Viewers!

Very impressive! And this is on a house? Maybe a little over the top, but then again I can't see the rest of the house so maybe not.

My offering this week isn't nearly so grand, but it does include both windows and doors!

Very impressive - what is missing is the family sign - a lion, a hawk or sword and a shield - in the middle of the carvings. Very pretty door - looks expensive.

Whoa, that's quite a door. That's on a private house? Yipes.

Mine's up too, but I took a slightly different tack ;-).

Yes, that is a magnificent door! Someone is trying to give a massive first impression.

Great shots Mary! I also like the "window light" in the sidebar. NYC has some entrances that are a cut above average - these doors meet the cut. But I would not want the job of polishing them.

Wow, that's a pretty severe door! I'm quite pleased to have found this meme - my link is up!

I would never have guessed that door was on a house. Good find!

A most uinusual private residence door, to say the least. Am glad to have doors included with the windows.

Simply beautiful. Copper? They must be heavy. Very nice. I love them.

I love the new header, cool.

Very striking. It's rather like a tin-tile ceiling, except on the door. Unusual idea.

In Forest Hills? I used to live in Bayside. Amazing! And I'm glad to see you've added doors. I hope to participate again soon.
