Window Views... and doors too! #28

It's "Window Views... and doors too!" time again! Welcome and remember you can post doors and windows, just doors or just windows.

This is a window fit for a king, or a queen...

This is a extensively decorated doorway in Brooklyn. It's decorated, of course, for Autumn.

I'll try to get around to everyone's post for this week. Don't forget to sign Mr. Linky and leave a comment. Go visiting too!

Window Views... and doors too! #27

So this is my first post for our newly-named meme, Window Views... and doors too! It's the same as "Window Views" but now you can post photos of doors if you like.

Take a look at the door I shot the other day:

What an unusual door on a very usual house in Forest Hills, Queens, N.Y. Don't you think?

I'm looking forward to your windows and/or doors this week.

Window Views #26

Hi everyone it's that time again: to post photos of windows that we've come across during the week.

I was wondering if you'd like to not only post WINDOWS but DOORS as well? We could call this blog WINDOWS AND DOORS or another name that you might suggest in your comments...

We'd start for real next week. I'd have a new title in the banner and you could post shots of windows or doors or both.

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

LET ME KNOW IN YOUR COMMENTS...

Well, here's my photo for today:

This is the front window of 300 year old St. George's Episcopal/Anglican Church in Main Street, Flushing Queens.

I passed this church every day when I used to work in Manhattan. It hasn't changed much at least on the outside. It has a beautiful churchyard and some gorgeous stained glass windows.

It is still functioning today and serving the community of Flushing Queens.

Window Views #25

My apologies to all our Window Viewers from around the globe who've have been waiting today to participant in Window Views and to sign Mr. Linky. I've been distracted of late. I'm so sorry!

This is a stained glass window from St. George's Episcopal/Anglican Church, Flushing, Queens, NY. This is particularly interesting because the glass isn't covered from the outside (as most stained glass usually is) so the artistic design can be seen and appreciated.
