That's some pretty impressive ironwork on those upper windows! Nice catch!

Hi Mary,
I'm new to Window Views. I discovered it when I played Ruby Tuesday a couple of days ago.

I've never noticed windows with grates like those before.

Love the scrolled ironwork of those grills! A nd the white walls highlight the intrinsic detail! Beautiful!

The aroratum has more that trees to see. Those are fantastic windows! To answer your question, I don't know exactly what's in the tall vase. It looks like thin shells of some sort. What struck me was the way the light filtered through them.

Those are so lacy and Victorian-looking! ("Victorian-looking" instead of "Victorian" because I'm not sure I pegged their time-period correctly.) I love them, especially with the white-painted brick (a favorite of ours).

very pretty windows. I especially like how the light is peeking out behind the shrub, reflecting on the building.

Great minds!!! I went to the arboretum to get mine too!! I love yours. It's not the kind of building I would suspect finding in NY! It looks so "classic"?
