Window Views and doors too

"This mural was painted in collaboration with Arts Build Community (ABC) and Zaftig's Delicatessen in the summer of 2007 (Jewish year 5757) in celebration of Zaftig's 10th year anniversary."

There are windows all over this mural which is painted on the side of the building facing a children's playground in Brookline, Mass.

I was going to ask you to count the number of windows but I realized there are just too many including two that belong to the building and are real windows not painted ones. There's even a door or two.

Happy Window Views and doors too to you this week!

I'm not sure I'd like eating with the Zaftig ("fat" in Yiddish) reminder hanging over me but I love the murals and I bet I'd love the food even more. One thing you can't get in Israel strangely enough is really good Jewish deli. My sister is in Brookline often, maybe I'll have her bring me some pastrami when she comes up to New Hampshire this summer...

Whsat a fun post of a great community project. I gave up counting the windows!

Though, I do wonder who that red dressed (and red haired) zaftig woman might be?

Delightful bunch of windows and a great addition to the playground! And counting them would be a chore, especially on all the cars.

Wow ... these are wonderful windows captured in such colorful murals! I've shared neighborhood houses with windows decorated for the 4th of July this week ... just because ;-)
Hugs and blessings,
