Window Views #12

Welcome again to Window Views!

Here are the thumbnails I promised you of posts some of our participants entered last week:

I visited St. Michael's Cemetery in Astoria this week. And found some windows as well as Cemetery statuary that I liked. Take a look at the two shots below:

St. Michael's Cemetery is situated in the borough of Queens in New York City. Established in 1852, St. Michael's is one of the oldest religious, nonprofit cemeteries in the New York City metropolitan area which is open to people of all faiths. It is owned and operated by St. Michael's Church, an Episcopal congregation located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.

This building is at the entrace to the cemetery and it looks abandoned. It was probably the office for making inquiries.

So now Sign Mr. Linky and leave a comment.

And visit your fellow participants!

Lovely old windows Mary. Cemeteries are great for photos, aren't they?

Very stately and elegant windows Mary.

Mine for this week is from the other side - the view from inside the window looking out. I hope it will resonate with all of you the way it did for me.

Hi Mary,

I love your selection of windows you have featured this week. The windows from St. Michael's are a lovely classic style. Also, I very much like your new banner picture.

Hugs,
Annie

Nice, but judging from that camera nearby, I'd say at least someone was still working there. And nice stone-work, as well! Happy Wednsday, Mary! :)

PS. When I opened your post and saw the very first picture without reading anything I thought, it's strange it looks exactly like a picture I posted. Lol ! Thanks I am honored !
