Window Views and doors too

Welcome again to Window Views and doors too! I wanted to post this window looking out but the screen distorted the view. So I added Film Grain from Adobe Photoshop and distorted it some more in a way that I liked better... :)

This is a shot from the Fire Island Lighthouse or Light as it's called (ground floor) looking East.

We post on Wednesday for our Thursday meme because in other parts of the world it's already Thursday!

I love the texture that the screens add to the shot
well done Birthday girl :)

What an interesting idea - to take an effect you don't like and intensify it so you do. Perhaps I should try something like that with the photo I took looking out of a train window.

I like inside-out aspect :). Nice use of texture too.

I've entered a major international photo competition (details are on my blog) and would be most grateful if you'd click through and rate my portfolio (just click on the stars at the bottom (preferably the 5th star - "fantastic" - LOL), easy peasy, no registration or personal details needed). Thanks so much!

I really love the screen effect, and the way the panes divide the shot up into separate areas. Very dramatic!
